What Are Some Good Precautions To Keep Newborn From Getting Swine Flu?
I hit a 5 assemblage senior in kindergarten and a 3 assemblage senior in a digit period a hebdomad preschool program. I hit a 4 hebdomad senior and hit heard (through a near someone at the hospital) that a some of the nurses at a neighboring infirmary hit proven constructive for swine flu. I intend my children vaccinated every assemblage for the lawful contagion but those haven’t been conventional still (thought I undergo that won’t support for swine flu.) Should I vantage my 3 assemblage senior from the preschool information until outflow when my infant module be older? Any ideas and advice would be appreciated. Also, how are babies doing that intend the swine flu?

Hello Christie,
Authorities have stated that high alert is only need for sick kids younger than 1 year old. So, this implicates that you can focuss on your youngest child to take care of swine flu prevention.
In general, hand hygiene appears to be among the very few factors that people can manage themselves. So, for example you can make sure that the other 2 kids have washed their hands before they start interacting with your youngest child.
The source below provides 10 golden rules for establishing hand hygiene.
By the way, try to be sensible with your actions. Pulling your 3 year old kid from the preschool program until spring is an option, but might actually be an over-reaction as well.
I hope this answer will be helpful for you to ease your mind a bit, since the some answers indicate that you might have a bit too much of worries on your mind.
Keep cool … and think about your own hand hygiene!
Best wishes from The Netherlands,
Martijn

We are getting lot of emails regarding “How to cure H1N1 swine flu? “and is there really any cure for present N1N1 Swine Flu virus. Good news is YES there is . We found H1N1 Swine Flu virus cure in Ayurveda and Homeopathy.Considering that many over the counter and prescribed pharmaceutical flu remedies (Tamiflu) not only hazard negative side effects, but they may also not really cure current flu strains and even deadly aswell.
Honey if we let all these things scares us then we would never leave our homes just take care if one of the kids is feeling sick then don’t let them get to close to the baby and no kissing the baby on the mouth but don’t get so caught up worry about all this or you will stop living
Hygiene is the only answer and if one of your kids gets infected, keep him away from the other kids for the duration. Clean everything your sick kid has all the time and all the surfaces he touches.
The best precaution is to breast feed. You pass your immunities through your milk. Secondly, hand washing it key. You know this I am sure. Don’t pull your 3 year old, your 5 year old is the one that is most exposed to germs being at school every day in kindergarten. A good hand wash before touching anything is best. When you pick your kids up, hand them a hand towel to wash off germs on the way to the car. Handles are the most likely spot. Use Clorox wipes or if you are in a pinch, use a baby wipe and clean off car handles, door handles, light switches ETC. Really pay attention to what the kids touch on their way home from school. Be careful not to make them paranoid about their “germs.” Wash toys with bleach & water (look at clorox.com for amounts). Don’t encourage kissing between the kids and use a dishwasher for your dishes not sink washing. I have not heard of one healthy baby dying of swine flu. IF your kids have some symptoms, look them up online and see if they could be swine flu. Try not to run to the doc unless you have to. Sometimes the doctors office is the worst place to take your kids because surely someone there has the virus. Best of luck!
